Johan leads the accounting, financial management, tax, and legal functions, directs external reporting, and is a key participant in managing investor relations at Fulcrum.
Prior to joining Fulcrum in 2008, Johan was CFO and VP Finance for five years at Canada’s largest credit union, where he also held various management positions in finance from 1996 to 2007. In 2013, Johan was awarded Business in Vancouver's CFO of the Year award in the Transformation Agent category.
Johan is a CPA and has earned several degrees, including Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Accountancy Postgraduate degrees, both from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa, and a Business Economics Honours Postgraduate degree in Financial Management in Banking from the University of South Africa.
